"Fine Art" original oil paintings on stretched canvas of the American Western States. Landscapes of beautiful Nevada, old buildings, windmills, barns, relics. Desert landscapes of the western U.S. mostly California, Utah and Nevada with rocks, Joshua trees, wild flowers, etc. The majestic mountains of California the Sierra Nevadas. The High Sierras, Sierras, the Sierra Nevada's include "Lake Tahoe" and "Mammoth Mountain", Bodie the ghost town. Utah's Delicate Arch, any view from the "Rocky Mountains" all of the west inspires this American artist. I almost never do a painting without clouds. Clouds add extra life to a painting and can often be the main subject of a painting.
Although my art is spreading to encompass the entire West , my earliest paintings were of the Nevada desert. After opening a gallery in Bishop, the High Sierras became a big part of images that occupy many a canvas. If the truth be known, I just love the outdoors. I am at home in the middle of the desert, the forest, near a pond, lake, stream, ghost town, mountains, as long as is is outdoors.

My latest love is hiking in the High Sierras and the Nevada desert.
